Divine Timing is ACTUALLY Everything.
The Hottest Superpower – No One Told You About. (Until Now.)
We live in a culture infected with false urgency. This one disastrous idea: “If I don’t make it happen, right now, I’m doomed.” – is usually unfair, untrue – and in the long run unproductive.
It’s a nasty little bit of ungrounded and unrealistic programming with huge consequences. It favors short-term thinking and tends to produce unsustainable results. Results which are, ironically, a waste of time.
So you push. You over-schedule. You “force outcomes.” You measure your power by how much you can make happen as quickly as possible on your preferred timeline. And at a huge cost.
When you treat life like a linear to-do list and timing like something to dominate, you cut yourself off from an extraordinary leadership advantage: Divine Timing — moving with the tide of energy instead of swimming against it.
Because when you’re swimming against the tide long enough, it doesn’t matter how smart, strategic, or seasoned you are — you will get exhausted.
When Power Turns Into Dis-Ease
The “will to power” programming runs deep. It tells you:
I get what I want only by pushing harder.
If it’s not happening yet, I’m doing something wrong.
If I slow down, I’ll fall behind.
This individualistic striving ignores something obvious: you are part of a vast, interconnected ecosystem. Nothing you create happens in total isolation.
When you force timing — launches, promotions, hiring, relationships, even healing — you can get decent results. Every action produces some result. But when that result isn’t harmonized with the wider field of people, circumstances, and energy around you, it’s fragile. It’s not sustainable. And it is definitely not optimal.
This is where dis-ease creeps in and we get used to it: rushing, urgency, insomnia, anxiety, resentment. Your nervous system is swimming upstream against a river that is actually designed to carry you much of the way.
Divine timing is not about passivity. It’s about working with and harnessing a much bigger power. Instead of living inside the illusion that muscling through everything on your own is even possible.
The Moment You Stop Forcing and Start Reading Energy
Most of us have never been taught to do this, but it’s simple:
Read energy first (Listen to your gut instinct/body).
Then think about it. (Apply your intellect in interpretation.)
Then decide. (Moving with solid intuitive guidance.)
You already know versions of this. You turn onto a street you always walk down and your body goes Nope. Your shoulders tense, your stomach tightens. That’s instinct.
At that moment your intellect has a choice:
Override it with programming — “Don’t be silly, this is your usual route” — and bulldoze forward.
Or partner with your instinct — “Interesting. Now that I look more closely I can see the last two streetlights are out tonight. I could go a different way just to be safe.”
That second pathway — when your instinct and your intellect line up and ring true — is intuition. Intellect + Instinct working together.
Your intuition is not just a feeling. It’s your head working for and with your instincts, not dominating them. It’s actually your heart-center where instinct and intellect meet and say, “This is the next aligned move.”
That intuitive guidance – aligns us with Divine Timing.
Meet James — From Burnt Out to Blissed Out
James came to me as a rising star at a prestigious company. He was on a partnership-track with an impeccable résumé and… absolutely no joy left in his work.
As he and I dove into his lack of enthusiasm we discovered that the problem wasn’t his talent or his motivation. It wasn’t even the work itself. It was the work culture of this particular place. And it was costing him his vitality, clarity, and the competitive edge that comes from feeling lit up.
Together, we saw something essential: He wasn’t misaligned with his career — he was misaligned with his environment. Once he saw this (in a way that was discerning without being judgmental), he was able to move out of the old firm with ease.
And then, something extraordinary happened.
He began to evaluate every new work opportunity that presented itself to him – not just through logic, but in the way I had been coaching him… He began making his moves informed by a bigger field of information:
his instincts
his embodied experience
+ his intellect
With trust in his personal energy, inside of the energy of context, he moved into Divine Timing. As he practiced having the relaxed confidence that comes with this level of trust, his entire nervous system recalibrated. He learned patience without passivity.
Now? He is experiencing nothing short of miracles.
He is about to sign into leadership role with a boutique firm that reflects his current values, honors his energy, and elevates his gifts. He is profiting personally and professionally all at the same time. His friends are asking him what’s happened. He is glowing, magnetic, and “unrecognizable” in a rekindled love of life.
His future is unfolding beautifully — and he knows it. Every time we talk, he is more fulfilled, more joyful, and more aligned… with everything.
James has learned how to take his time and how to give life “its time” – to line things up both for him and with him. And in doing so, he has come into a harmony and resonance that forcing and rushing simply cannot provide.
He has started manifesting his absolute best life, like magic.
If all this is speaking to you, you’re ready to invest in producing your own miracles.

Rushing Makes Less Time
Think about how many times you’ve rushed, believing it would “save time”:
Rushing to the airport, leaving things behind, having to backtrack, creating more stress.
Rushing through a high-stakes email and then spending hours doing damage control.
Rushing to eat, making a huge spill in your haste, and losing time cleaning it up.
Rushing to a massage, a yoga class or a social event with friends. Stressing yourself out on the way to something that’s supposed to be recreational. Something that is supposed to relax you.
Crazy right? But we all do it.
When you slow down, something wild happens: your experience of time stretches. You notice more. You make fewer mistakes. The “lost time” of not rushing returns to you in the form of ease, clarity, and better outcomes.
This is a micro-experience of divine timing. You change your pace and your experience of time rearranges around you. You step out of dis-ease and into the flow –– of ease.
Patience vs. Waiting: A Critical Distinction
The universe, your guardian angels, your future self living your best life in a quantum reality beyond 3D spacetime (... however you want to think of the vast being of which you are a part) he/she/it is not asking you to sit on the couch and just hope.
You are being invited to partner dance with the universe – with something way greater than just you, alone, in an imaginary vacuum.
There’s a huge difference between waiting and patience:
Waiting is clenched: “Where is it? Why isn’t it here yet?” Your focus is on what you don’t have. It is stressful and constricted.
Patience is relaxed trust: “It’s in motion. I’ll tend to what’s here until the timing lines up.” It is expansive, confident and productive.
The fact is that people who are waiting often have a hard time actually leaping into action when the opportunity finally arrives — because they get stuck in a waiting mindset and energy. Waiting is frustrating and draining. It actually uses up your energy.
Meanwhile, those who practice patience are busy “mending their nets” during an in-between time. They start strengthening systems, nurturing relationships, tending to their wellbeing — so when their metaphorical tide comes in and “the fish are biting”, they’re recharged, energized, equipped, and ready to move with the tide.
This is how divine timing works with you, and for you: You read the energy. You act when it’s aligned. You attend to what other work is present when it’s not.
When you step into Diving Timing you stop making everything urgent just because your programming says so. When you embrace this –– when you take action without false urgency, without rushing, you not only experience more ease, you create it around you.
How Leaders Practice Divine Timing (Without Losing Their Edge)
Here’s what this looks like in the life of a luminous leader:
They notice false urgency. If there’s no literal bear, fire, or plane door closing. They question the rush.
They allow “commitment without rigidity.” They can plan a year out and still pivot if the energy shifts. They can adapt and flow without abandoning the vision.
They ask: “What’s the next aligned action in this context — for my body, my energy, my team, this larger ecosystem?”
They treat symptoms of struggle — chronic stress, resentment, tight timelines that hurt — as information, not identity.
And they remember this: You’re not given a genuine desire without a pathway to it. It just might not arrive in the how, when, where, or with whom your intellect decided first.
Divine timing is allowing life to deliver the feeling you truly want — success, freedom, love, impact — in the most aligned way, not just the way you think it all should come.
An Action Step (and an Invitation)
If you want to step into this way of leading, start here today:
Notice where you’re rushing and ask, “Is this actual urgency or programming?”
Ask yourself, “What is the next aligned action I can take? Can I keep this commitment and also move this to another time with relaxed dignity.”
Explore the difference in how it feels when you are making rigid demands of yourself and life vs. holding desires with commitment and patient action. With relaxed trust.
If all this is resonating for you, you’re ready to invest in a deeper practice.

You’re Here to Grow and Play
One of the most liberating truths I’ve been shown is this: Your consciousness is not here to pass a test. There is no cosmic grading rubric. You aren’t even here to “learn a lesson”.
You are here to grow and play — to co-author an experience, a choose-your-own-adventure life story in real time — in a universe that is literally made of music and movement.
When you understand divine timing, you stop insisting on conducting the entire orchestra all by yourself, all the time. You have permission to start relaxing into the joy of playing your favorite instrument — fully, beautifully, in tune with the larger songs of which you are a part.
And when you do that, your life becomes what it was always meant to be: A page-turner. A dance. A garden path which leads to your goals. Where smelling some of the roses along the way isn’t a distraction from success — it is part of the success.
You move toward your goals beautifully. You become a leader who is powerful, relaxed, and deeply resourced. And you role model this, creating ripple effects for everyone around you.
That… is real magic. ✨
